Banks will start demanding for customer's Bank Verification Number (BVN) before rendering services.
This is in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) directive that customers must have Bank Verification Number. This is in an effort to curb some fraudulent practices such as illegal transfer of money.
